June 7 2010, Steve re-unveiled the Apple iPhone 4 to the masses. I was following Gizmodo: Definitive iPhone4 Guide for hot updates on this and here's what they have to say about the iPhone 4.
- The new iPhone 4 seems to be 34% thinner than the previous iPhone 3GS model.
- There's a Shiny stainless steel rim around the phone thats adds to its looks and also acts as an antennae boost to the phone wifi and wireless connectivities. Sounds Interesting!
- The phone is about 4.5 x 2.31 inches, and 0.37 inches thick weighing about 140 gms.
- Battery Life is said to have increased by more than 40%
- The 3.5-inch multitouch screen has a resolution of 960 × 640 pixels, on an average, a resolution of about 320 pixel per inch. HD quality displays!
- The New OS supports selective multitasking efficiently using the right balance of power and resources
- Native support for 720P HD videos - edit and view
- The camera seems to have been slightly tuned tighter for better pictures.
The Price ranges from 199$ , 299$ and 599$, 699$ for those with and without service provider contracts. Get your hands on iPhone 4 this late june 2010.
